 Adam Grooms is an A.F.T.E. certified expert witness that has testified on more than seventy different occasions.  Adam has reported over a thousand firearms/tool mark cases.  He has trained new firearms examiners in gunpowder residues and muzzle to target distance, and lead auditor for quality assurance and experience as a Firearms/Tool Marks Section Chief.  Adam is a post certified law enforcement officer.  He has testified as an expert in crime scene investigations.  Adam is also an adjunct instructor for Alabama State University’s Master of Science in Forensic Science program.  Adam has instructed professional classes at Jacksonville State University for Applied Forensic Program and is a member of the Association of Firearms/Tool Mark Examiners (AFTE) and an associate member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS).
