Community Project Guidelines

Project Parameters

Projects must abide by the following parameters:
  • Must impact the community and its participants in a positive way including, but not limited to, service oriented projects, cultural arts events, awards ceremonies recognizing the good work of organizations and/or individuals in the community, grand opening celebrations, renovation projects, developing websites, assisting with food drives, student career fairs and more.
  • Limited fundraising expectations:
    • Funding must be project-specific 
    • Submitting organization must be willing to contribute to fundraising efforts
  • Should not replace a standing program
  • Appropriate scope for 6-8 people to implement

Project Time-frame

  • Torchbearers: May 2022 - October 2022
  • Legacy: September 2022 - Mid-April 2023

Legacy Team Members

  • Typically 6 - 8 team members per project

Online Community Project Submission Form

We accept project submissions year round for both classes.

Please provide the information requested and your proposal will be considered for adoption by one of the next classes. Incomplete proposals or proposals that lack clarity will not be considered.
